AV Ephesians 4:13: “Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:” I’m very much for unity. I believe He wants us to begin to talk to Him. He will show us the things we need to change. He will deal with our sins. Maybe that’s why we’re afraid sometimes. But I believe He also wants to reveal Himself to us. He may not answer all of our questions, but I believe He will answer some of them. But as long as we are willing, and we keep coming to Him, I believe He will bring us to a resolution in our hearts.
AV Philippians 2:3: “[Let] nothing [be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.” This gives us a good framework for presenting the truth to others. When we get ourselves and our pride out of the way, we can make a clear untainted presentation of the truth. And that’s when it’s most effective.
AV John 8:32: “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” This is the point we are trying to get people to realize. The truth is what makes us free once we know it. But we have to know it in order for it to make us free. So, we have to present the truth to those who don’t know it. The manner in which it’s presented can make all the difference in the world. But we can’t be afraid to present it.
