But that has a fruit-bearing aspect to it. We become holy as He is Holy. The end result being everlasting life.
2 Corinthians 3:17: “Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord [is], there [is] liberty.” We often forget that God wants to set us free. We get it backwards in thinking that God wants to hold us back. We do have a liberty in Christ. It’s something that we have to be conscious of. Otherwise our life can easily become just following a set of rules. God wants us to be free to live life and to enjoy life.
