Hebrews 11:1: “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” What God spoke into existence was something He did through faith. To a degree, we have the ability to shape our lives through our faith. When we engage in prayer, equipped with His word and our faith, we begin to move things in the spirit realm that manifest in the natural realm. That’s how faith works. Those things we ask for, and believe for, in prayer become realities when they are backed by our faith and His word.

Galatians 6:7: “Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.” Another way we create our future is by the seeds we sow. Those seeds we sow are our actions. Whether good or bad, they have an impact on our lives. Sowing bad seeds will produce bad results in our lives, sowing good seeds produces good results. God created us, but he also gave us the power to create. Those decisions we make are part of the process in creating a future that we want. But ignoring that process can end up giving us a future that we don’t want.
