And here, in 2 Timothy 3:16, it says it’s ‘profitable for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness’. This guide—this roadmap for life—if we just present it, we can let them make the decision and allow God to draw them to Himself.
John 6:44: “No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.” In our interactions with non-believers we can never dismiss God’s part in all this. God shows them through the Holy Spirit and begins to opens their eyes. He shows them the truth and brings them to a full understanding of themselves and God. We don’t need to convince—it’s God’s job to dispel the darkness and present the light.
