Some of these tendencies can be made fun of and caricatured within the context of the differences between the two sexes: women tend to stop and smell the roses, while men tend to trample over the roses just to get to their destination. I think of it this way: if God created all of this wonder and enjoyment called ‘Life’, then He created it, partly, for us to enjoy. It’s not meant to be a toilsome process of relentless day-to-day tasks to accomplish.
